Software Development - The Serval Project
As part of my work on the Serval Project I have developed a number of applications. During 2011 I was studying at Flinders University and contributed to the project via the prototype Serval Maps application that was developed as part of my honours thesis. My honours thesis is available via the studies section of this site.
At the start of this year I started working for the Serval Project full time and will continue to work on the Serval Maps application as well as contribute directly to the main Serval Project software. I will also be developing a number of test applications to assist in my development efforts. Contributions that I’ve made directly to the main Serval Project software are details in the Serval Project Wiki
Serval Maps
The Prototype Serval Maps application was developed as part of my honours thesis studies, the thesis is available via the studies section of this site. The application is available via github. Development will continue in 2012.
TestMeshMS
The TestMeshMS application is available via github and is being written to assist in the development of an API for the sending and receiving of MeshMS messages. An overview of what MeshMS is about is available on the blog by Dr Paul one of our lead developers.
