About Me and this Website
The purpose of this website is to share the stuff that I’ve created. My thoughts are on my blog, and my photos are on my photo site.
My name is Corey Wallis, and I go by techxplorer in a variety of different places. I’ve been developing software for more than 9 years in a variety of different positions in the higher education sector in Australia.
This year I returned to studies and started a honours degree at Flinders University. In 2011 I completed my thesis topic and my thesis is available online at this website.
My honours thesis topic was exploring the possibility of undertaking collaborative mapping activities in an infrastructure independent manner using the resilient AdHoc mesh network powered by the software developed by the Serval Project.
In 2012 I’m finishing my honours degree and working for the Serval Project by contributing to the Serval software as well as continuing development on the mapping prototype application that I started development on during my studies.
